Spectacular coral platform with glass surfaces

Another chapter is added to the success story of the pronatour project in the Triassic Park in Waidring: the "Coral" is here. Since August 2009 the new viewing platform is adorning the skies, carrying up to 300 people at a time. The elegant shape of a sea fan coral suggests the fossilized Steinplatte reef. There are three types of surface to walk on, depending on your frame of mind or fear of heights – each with its own thrill. The obscure "branches" of the coral allow relatively carefree steps, whilst the coarse open mesh flooring requires somewhat more courage. The ultimate adrenalin rush will come when you finally step onto completely transparent glass elements which will be among the largest walkable glass surfaces in Europe.
