Spectacular platform made of Corten steel and glass


Thrill. That’s the slogan of the Schilthorn Birg lift station. Now it can really carry this title: the SKYLINE WALK viewing platform is the newest attraction on the Schilthorn-Piz Gloria (Bernese Oberland, CH) and takes guests out above the vertical rock faces and over the abyss. Two mighty steel arms support the platform, which sweeps down in several steps from the terrace level. The terrace railings are thus broken through, providing a barrier-free view and you can climb against the precipice. The railings are made of fine Corten steel and glass; the floor is airy and transparent.
