Crowning Glory on Kronberg

A new world of adventure opened at the end of August in Kornberg, Switzerland. The Zipline-Park, featuring 25 different zip-wires and 1,644 meters of parkour, is suspended above Marliwelt – an adventure play area with a story to tell. The two adventure realms merge under the 12 meter high climbing crown.

Zell am Ziller Celebrate the Launch of new Leisure Park

On 11th October 2018, a range of new experiences from the pronatour idea factory were unveiled at a celebration at the Leisure park in Zell am Ziller. “Zillertal’s treasures” is the chosen theme for the gold-miner* play-park, an adventure golf course and the Active Camp, which encourage locals and visitors alike to play and get active.

Relaunch of fully integrated visitor experience at skywalk allgäu

pronatour staged a new entrance way complemented by four 4 themed adventure pathways to create a single, holistic nature experience around the existing treetop walkway “skywalk allgäu”. The newly integrated attraction was launched on 14.09.18. Visitors are encouraged to learn about the forest from the perspective of its various inhabitants through a variety of activity stations.

007 Walk of Fame: James Bond Immortalised on Schilthorn

George Lazenby and other Bond stars were personally on hand to open the 007 Walk of Fame on Schilthorn-Piz Gloria (Bernese Oberland, Switzerland). Live during the spectacular opening party, the actors’ fingerprints were imprinted for posterity on elegant information boards. pronatour planned and constructed the walkway and chill out area on the ridge around the summit.

News from Schilthorn: The Flower Park on the Allmendhubel is Open

There is a brand new attraction on Schilthorn (Bernese Oberland, Switzerland). The new adventure playground on the Allmendhubel was opened on 19th July 2014. In the Flower Park, children play among giant flowers and grasses and meet with the inhabitants of the Alpine meadows. Another highlight to experience, after Bond World 007 – both created by pronatour.

Animal World Cup: A new adventure playground in Zauchensee

In winter the Alpine Ski World Cup dominates Zauchensee and Michi Walchhofer is the local hero. pronatour’s summer attraction also follows the World Cup theme, developed as part of a wider tourism master plan. Following on from the chill out zone “Seekarena”, a second element of the plan has now been implemented: The Animal World Cup – a fulfilling and fun experience right next to the Gamskogelhütte.

The visitors slip into the roll of actor, director, scene builder or simply become the audience at over 20 playful stations designed to amaze. One of the stars of the show is the European Dipper, delivering songs, with their friends, in their own very special way. In the Bear Cave: Bear Cave Park in Corvara

Near the site of the world’s highest recorded discovery of bear bones, in the Conturines cave, pronatour have created an extraordinary amusement park, featuring a walk-in bear cave. Outside, in the adventure playground, visitors can dig up bear skeletons or slide down from the beehive. Inside, there is space to jump around, an interactive projection game and, of course BEARS!

Almrausch, ruler of Gartnerkofel, escorts you through pronatour’s latest adventure play park. The children cross meadows, waterfalls and ravines and master a challenging maze before they finally reach Wulfenia, a special flower, which only exists here and in the Himalayas. Only then can the mountain paradise and its inhabitants be saved.

Alta Badia: Geocaching trail connects Piz Sorega with Piz La Ila

This route combines a love of nature with the spirit of discovery as you search for little bits of treasure. Walkers solve engaging puzzles and learn useful facts about geocaching at seven stations en route. Two GPS units named Cachino and Cachombo lead you to their mini-caches along the way and the Safe-Cache at the end contains a reward. Two alternative levels of difficulty ensure everyone is suitably challenged!

Piz Gloria View; Fotopoint Platform Now on Schilthorn

Not only does Schilthorn offer the best view of the Eiger, Mönch and the Jungfrau, but it now also has an extravagant viewpoint, to create a picture worthy of this famous setting. Schilthorn – Piz Gloria: The Panoramic Terrace Gets a Brilliant New Look

pronatour has augmented Schilthorn”s panoramic Terrace with life-size, talking Bond characters, panorama boards and modern telescopes to create an outdoor feature to coincide with the launch of Bond World. The attractions are integrated with one complementary theme and fit perfectly to Schilthorn’s rebrand as Swiss Skyline. Bond World: Multimedia experience at 3,000m

Visitors infiltrate the set of the 6th Bond Adventure, “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service” and become 007 at this High tech exhibition. From the helicopter flight to the top of Schilthorn in the film “Piz Gloria” to the giant multi-touchscreen table and the 007-transformation studio, to the chase down the icy bob run. The most up to date media technology allows visitors to experience breath-taking action scenes up close.

Tyrol’s Zugspitz Arena: New Waterfall Walk in Ehrwald

Armed with postcards and a pen, the mascot “Zugspitzi” leads the way and show us Ehrwald’s rich heritage. There are clues to local legends to be gathered at each of the interactive boards and resting places. This round trip offers water games, an enchanted forest and stunning views, such as the Cooper’s Resting Place (Schäfflerrast). A reward awaits those who complete the route.

Climbing from different perspectives is highlighted in the latest themed walkway in Peilstein, created especially for families with children in mind. The mascot “A. Daxi”, a lizard, leads visitors to various stations along the way, where further information and links can be accessed via QR-codes.

LH Pröll opens VERBUND exhibition in Ybbs-Persenbeug

Feel the electricity at the power station in Ybbs-Persenbeug: This permanent exhibition, planned and implemented by pronatour, spans the period from the early days of the Danube’s importance as a shipping canal, through the changing history of power station construction up to the present day. The visitor tour takes in the entire area of the power station, from the imposing industrial shop floor to the sluice gates.
