The region that surrounds the Hohe Mut is widely known for its breathtaking mountain scenery, the Ötztal Nature Park and the nearby glaciers. The info point that pronatour has designed and realised on the Hohe Mut Alm focuses particularly on life in and on the glacier, climate change and high alpine research. Covering 135 square metres, the bilingual interactive nature park exhibition displays selected exhibits that reflect the high alpine world of fauna and flora and presents them in a modern take. Animating atmospheric images take visitors on a fascinating journey through time during which they're able to experience the history of the settling of the region, use the multimedia presentations to learn about the history of glacier research and its significance as well as benefit from first-hand information provided through the ‘Science Phone’. The glacier wall with its ice that visitors can touch and a 3,500-year-old ibex horn represent the highlights of the show.
